Steph has over 14years experience in the hairdressing industry, salon owner of Profile since 2018, registered as a Master Craftsman via the Hairdressing Council, she is currently programme manager of hairdressing and teaching NVQ VTCT hairdressing courses at Yeovil College, she was runner up in the World Skills UK competition, holds a teaching University Level Degree Diploma, an Assessors Award, First aid at work and is IQA qualified.
Our structured training modules are tailored to bridge the gap between college qualifications and confident salon floor execution. All attendees must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 or 3 diploma or equivalent certificate in hairdressing.
Colour theory essentials
Master the principles of colour formulation. We cover hair depths, undertones, lightening curves, and navigating the international colour chart to give you full confidence behind the chair.
Cutting and sectioning guides
Deconstruct the 4 key haircuts, learn intuitive cutting angles, and master sectioning patterns. Refine fringes, precision face framing, and flattering side partings with ease.
Hands-on practical Mondays
Optional hands-on practical sessions hosted in our Dorchester salon on Mondays. Working on block heads, followed by sourcing live hair models to put theory directly into real-time salon practice under expert guidance.
Pricing
Online Theory Education from only £150 per unit: cutting or colouring.
Practical hands on training days start from £250 per day, we can tailor courses to suit your needs, offering the choice of a 2 day training course, or a 6 week programme, focusing on either haircutting or colouring. We will carry out an interview and a skill scan on the first practical session, to help us assess how long we'd recommend to undergo our courses.
